Bearded Dragons are probably the most ideal reptile for the beginner. Their friendly docile nature and love for attention makes them irresistable.

They like their environment hot at one end and cooler at the other so they can thermoregulate their own bodies. It is important that temperture is controlled using a thermostat and that sunlight is replicated using a UVB light.
